The registration for the IMECS 2009 has started, and the early registration fee is US$390. Early registration discount and student registration discount will be available. The registration fee includes one copy of the conference proceeding, opening reception, coffee/tea breaks, conference lunches, the conference dinner banquet and the access to all the IMECS conferences and tutorial sessions. The student registration fee does not include the conference lunches and the conference dinner.

The registration fee includes one copy of the conference proceeding, opening reception, coffee/tea breaks, conference lunches, the conference dinner banquet and the access to all the IMECS conferences and tutorial sessions. The student registration fee does not include the conference lunches and the conference dinner. The registration fee includes the publication of one accepted paper of up to 6 pages in the conference proceeding.

For each additional paper by the same author, there is a charge of US$160 per additional paper. For papers of more than 6 pages, the page charge is US$27 per additional page.

Cancellation Policy:
- No penalty if cancellation is made until 2 October 2008.
- Reimbursement of 75% of the registration fee if cancellation is made between 2 October 2008 and 28 November 2008.
- Reimbursement of 50% of the registration fee if cancellation is made between 29 November 2008 and 16 December 2008.
- Reimbursement of 25% of the registration fee if cancellation is made between 17 December 2008 and 18 January 2009.
- No reimbursement for cancellations from 19 January 2009.
